The Barcode Scanner is a fast, privacy‑first decoder for the four most common symbologies used in tickets, IDs, logistics labels and shipping documents: QR Code, Code 128, Code 39 and PDF417. Upload a photo or screenshot and the decoded value is shown instantly.
Decoding happens entirely in your browser using the ZXing engine. No image, no decoded value, and no metadata is ever sent to a server — making it safe to use with boarding passes, IDs, parcel labels and other sensitive documents.
For best results, upload a sharp, well‑lit image where the barcode is clearly visible and not heavily skewed. PDF417 codes (used on US driver's licenses and boarding passes) benefit from higher resolution captures.
